Sparkly Safari

8 Feb

I apologize for not posting a new mani last night, but my husband and I had an awesome night out. A local Italian restaurant had a handmade ravioli and wine paring demonstration, it was sooo much fun. Anyway for tonight’s manicure I decided to finally use Wet N’ Wild’s Greys Anatomy. I tried it on one nail when I first bought it but never used it completely. Its a purpley silver with green tones, beautiful in the bottle but so sheer on its own so I put 3 coats over Sinful Color’s Black on Black. Then I used Konad’s plate m69 and Sally Hansen’s Celeb City for the stamping. It was the first time I used it for stamping and I’m very happy with the results!  I finished it off with my usual two coats of Essie’s To Dry For.

Red Fishnets

4 Feb

I haven’t done a really girly manicure in a while so this morning I was all set to do Sinful Color’s Beautiful Girl and a white konad stamp. I guess I succeeded in it being really girly because it came out too cutesy for me and I t0ok it off almost immediately. So instead I went with Sinful Color’s Sugar Sugar. I used Konad’s plate m57 for the fishnet pattern. Since we’re getting close to Valentine’s Day I thought I’d add the lip accent on my ring finger. I almost forgot to add that I added a french tip with Sinful Color’s Black on Black. I finished it off with two coats of Essie’s To Dry For, my favorite top coat.

This morning I ordered 18 new nail polishes…I can’t wait til they arrive!

New Colors!

24 Jan

I bought two new polishs at Walgreens this past week. Rimmel London Rags to Riches and Sinful Colors Mercury Rising. I decided to try out the Rags to Riches first. Great Color, its a pearly-sage green. It only takes 2 coats to get to the bottle color. I decided to do a white zebra konad stamp on top. Very happy with it!  I also tried something a little different this time. I put a coat of Essie To Dry For before I did my konad stamp. I think it looks extra shiny…and hopefully will stay on longer.

Another Manicure I forgot to post was actually one of my favorites!
